Seated in Heavenly Places

The resurrection of Jesus didn’t just raise Him from the grave—it lifted us with Him into a new position of spiritual authority and identity. Ephesians 2:6 proclaims that God “hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” This isn’t future tense—it’s a present reality. Right now, you are seated with Christ in heavenly places.

This is not about geography; it’s about spiritual position. To be seated with Christ means that we share in His victory, His inheritance, and His authority. We’re no longer under the dominion of this world. We’re not slaves to sin, fear, or the enemy’s accusations. Our lives are hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3), and we now live from a place of divine favor and spiritual strength—not striving for victory, but standing in it.

Knowing your position in Christ changes everything. It brings confidence in prayer, assurance in trials, and courage in the face of spiritual warfare. Satan wants you to live like you’re still on the battlefield, but Jesus has already won the war. When you understand that you’re seated with Him, you stop fighting for victory and start living from it.
