Resurrection Sunday may have passed, but the power of the resurrection continues every day for the believer. The empty tomb is not a once-a-year celebration—it is the foundation of our daily walk with Christ. Because Jesus rose from the dead, we don’t just remember a moment in history—we live in its reality. Paul declared in Philippians 3:10, “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection.” This power is not just theological; it is transformational. It changes how we think, how we live, how we hope, and how we endure.

First and foremost, the resurrection assures us that salvation is settled. If Jesus had remained in the tomb, we would still be dead in our sins. But because He lives, we know the price was accepted and the victory is won. His rising from the grave is Heaven’s stamp of approval that redemption is complete. Romans 6:4 says, “Even so we also should walk in newness of life.” We are not just forgiven—we are made new. The same power that broke open the tomb now breaks the chains of sin in our lives.

It also means we never walk alone. Jesus is not a distant Savior who completed His work and then stepped away. He is alive and present. He walks with us, speaks to us through His Word, intercedes for us at the Father’s right hand, and empowers us through the Holy Spirit. This living relationship gives strength in our weakness, courage in our trials, and joy in our journey. The risen Christ is not just the reason we believe—He is the One who helps us endure and grow every single day.

So let today, the day after Resurrection Sunday, be a fresh beginning. Let the truth of the resurrection fill your heart with wonder, boldness, and joy. Jesus is alive. And because He is alive, we live differently—not for ourselves, but for Him who died and rose again. Let His life be your life, His victory be your victory, and His resurrection be your daily reminder: death is defeated, and we are alive in Him.
