Walking daily with God requires trust. Trusting Him with the big decisions and the small moments, the clear paths and the uncertain terrain. Proverbs 3:5-6 gives us this timeless encouragement: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Trusting God means surrendering our plans, our fears, and our questions to Him, knowing that He is faithful and His ways are always best.

Trusting God begins with acknowledging His sovereignty. He sees the whole picture—past, present, and future—and He works all things together for good to those who love Him (Romans 8:28). While we may only see the next step in front of us, God knows the journey ahead. When we trust Him, we can take that next step with confidence, even if we don’t understand where it will lead.

It’s also important to remember that trust is built over time. As you walk with God daily, you’ll see His faithfulness in action. Every answered prayer, every moment of provision, and every instance of His presence in a trial strengthens your trust in Him. Psalm 37:5 encourages us, “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Trust grows as we see His hand at work in our lives.

Today, whatever you’re facing, choose to trust God with every step. Bring your uncertainties, your burdens, and your plans to Him in prayer. Ask Him to guide you, and then walk forward in faith, knowing He is with you. Trust is the foundation of a life that walks daily with God, and as you lean on Him, you’ll discover His peace, His direction, and His unchanging love every step of the way.
