Conflicts are a natural part of relationships, but how we handle them determines whether they lead to growth or division. Colossians 3:13 advises, “Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.” Resolving conflict with humility requires us to set aside pride and approach disagreements with a spirit of grace.

Humility in conflict means listening before speaking, valuing the other person’s perspective, and seeking reconciliation over being right. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.” When we approach conflicts with gentleness and a willingness to forgive, we create an environment where healing and restoration can take place.

If you’re facing a conflict today, pray for God to give you a humble heart and wise words. Trust Him to guide you as you seek to bring peace and unity to the relationship.
