Conflict is inevitable in any relationship, but how we handle it makes all the difference. As believers, we are called to resolve conflicts with grace and humility. Ephesians 4:26-27 encourages us, “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.” Addressing conflict quickly and with love prevents bitterness and division.
Resolving conflict begins with listening and understanding the other person’s perspective. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.” Responding with gentleness and humility opens the door for reconciliation and peace. Forgiveness is also crucial, as unresolved anger only deepens the divide.
This week, if conflict arises, commit to handling it with grace. Pray for wisdom and seek resolution in a way that honors God. Healthy conflict resolution strengthens relationships and reflects the love of Christ.
