Building Relationships through Service

Strong relationships are often built when we choose to serve one another selflessly. Galatians 5:13 reminds us, “For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.” Service is a practical expression of love that deepens bonds and reflects the heart of Christ.

Jesus demonstrated this perfectly when He washed the feet of His disciples in John 13. Even as their Lord and Savior, He humbled Himself to serve, teaching them that true greatness lies in serving others. When we serve those we love, we follow in His footsteps and cultivate humility, kindness, and trust in our relationships.

This week, look for ways to serve the people in your life. Whether it’s helping with a task, offering encouragement, or simply being available, acts of service strengthen relationships and bring glory to God.
