As the pastor of Maranatha Baptist Church, Pastor Jeremy Peters is committed to leading the congregation to grow as biblical disciples of Jesus Christ. His ministry focuses on reaching the lost and helping every member grow in their faith and walk with God. With a deep passion for revival, he seeks to foster an environment where the Spirit of God has liberty to move, encouraging both spiritual growth and a closer relationship with Christ.
Born into a Christian home, Pastor Peters was saved at the young age of four after hearing a message about the need for a Savior. God called him to preach less than a year later, a calling he has faithfully pursued ever since. Despite challenges during his formative years, he remained faithful, preaching in churches across Northeast Texas as a teenager. He graduated from Southland Baptist College in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Theology and Christian Education. His ministry experience spans various roles, all marked by his dedication to teaching the Word of God and shepherding God’s people.
Pastor Jeremy and his wife, Heidi, have been married since November 2013 and are blessed with three children—JJ (9), Robby (4), and David (1)—with a fourth child, Spencer, due in February 2025. As a family, they find their greatest joy in serving the Lord together, striving to be a blessing to others in ministry and in life.
Pastor Peters brings to Maranatha Baptist Church a vision grounded in discipleship, outreach, service, revival, and readiness for Christ’s return. He believes God has great plans for Maranatha Baptist Church and is eager to see the congregation grow both spiritually and numerically as a light in the Princeton community. With an unwavering commitment to sharing the gospel, he invites everyone to join in this mission, offering hope and the love of Christ to all.
