One of the greatest blessings of walking with God is the peace He gives. In a world filled with uncertainty, conflict, and chaos, His peace is a constant source of comfort and strength. Colossians 3:15 encourages us, “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.” Walking in peace doesn’t mean life will always be easy, but it does mean we can trust God to carry us through whatever comes our way.
God’s peace is not like the fleeting peace the world offers. John 14:27 says, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” This peace is rooted in the unchanging truth of God’s presence, His promises, and His sovereignty. When we walk with God, we can rest in the assurance that He is in control, even when life feels uncertain.
Today, choose to let God’s peace rule your heart. Surrender your anxieties to Him in prayer, and meditate on His Word to remind yourself of His faithfulness. Philippians 4:6-7 promises, “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Let His peace fill you and guide you as you walk with Him.
