Walking with God requires faith, especially when the path ahead isn’t clear. Life often presents us with uncertainties—decisions we’re unsure of, challenges we didn’t anticipate, or seasons of waiting where answers seem delayed. 2 Corinthians 5:7 reminds us, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” Faith is trusting in God’s promises even when we can’t see the outcome. It’s choosing to believe that He is working all things together for good, even when the way forward feels uncertain.

Faith is built on the character and promises of God. When we reflect on His faithfulness in the past, it strengthens our confidence in Him for the future. Abraham is a powerful example of walking by faith. Hebrews 11:8 says, “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.” Abraham’s trust in God allowed him to step forward into the unknown, relying on the One who had called him.

Walking by faith doesn’t mean we won’t have questions or doubts along the way, but it does mean surrendering those doubts to God. Faith requires us to let go of control and trust that God’s plans are higher and better than our own. Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Today, choose to walk in faith, trusting that God will guide you and provide for every step of the journey.
